My name is Amy and I’m from Armidale, New South Wales, Australia where I live with my partner, Ben, my cat, Soots, a puppy named Mojo and four egg-laying chooks. This is my blog about food, baking, photography, sustainability and life in general. You’ll find me chattering on about recipes, measures I’m taking in my own life to become more sustainable and Earth-friendly, gardening and things that generally take my fancy.
We’ve recently taken the plunge and bought a house, and we’re about to undertake the challenge of retrofitting it so it’s more suited to our cold climate, turning our little cottage into a model of today’s sustainable practices. We’ll be setting up a vast permaculture garden, hoping to produce a large enough harvest to supply most of our own diet.
